Cap additions at the nape that help adjust the circumference of the wog

In human hair wigs, knots may be bleached to lessen the appearance. Bleaching the knots makes the wig look more natural, but may compromise the integrity of the knot and lead to early shedding

Wigs that have a small area of lace on the cap at the part to mimic a more natural appearance. Part usually cannot be changed.

Wigs in which the lace extends from the front to cover the top of the wig. Part can usually be changed anywhere within the lace area

Using products like glue, foundation, and concealer to make a wig appear as if it is "melting" into the skin

A material usually paired with a lace front that is more durable/less delicate compared to silk

Hair is threaded through silk to mimic a natural scalp. May be paired with a lace front or not.
