These are typically easier to purchase because of more reliable availability of consistent colors (see below), but they cost about the same and tend to lack the nice details and features that the custom color retailers (see below) include.
A note on availability
Mass produced human hair wigs are often stocked on online wig shops for easy purchase. Some colors may be out of stock from time to time, but they are generally easier to buy on your time and easier to make sure you can buy one of the same color, length, and cut later when you need to replace your wig. You can also return to some places without a restocking fee if you don’t like it.

A note on availability
Uniquely colored wigs tend to require more effort to purchase compared to mass produced. They’re available in limited quantities, and only released at certain times, and selection may vary widely from week to week. Because of this, you may have to check the site often to find what you’re looking for and once you do find your dream wig you could end up racing another wig sister at the time of release to get it. IfAnd lastly, it’s more difficult to get the exact same wiwhen it’s time to replace it

Custom/Uniquely Colored Sellers
Some sellers have a lower quality, more affordable line (for example, Wigs by Tiffani's Guiltless line). These sellers also offer various discounts, especially around the holidays. Sign up for email or join their social media groups to be notified when the sales hit.

Resale or used

Tiffani posts discounted resales on her site, which includes gently loved wigs and new wigs that were not returned within the allowed time.
Pre-owned and new wigs are often posted and sold from the purchaser on the Facebook groups of specific sellers (such as Wigs By Tiffani or Lu’s Wigs) or on groups created to sell and trade any brand, like “Flip Your Wig” and many others. Differnt groups have differnt rules about what can be listed and when, so check the rules when you join the group. This can be a great way to get a deal, but there is additioanl risk becasue you’re buying from an individual.
